Official: Goalkeeper Gaya Merbah Leaves JS Kabylie

JS Kabylie announced on Wednesday the departure of goalkeeper Gaya Merbah after mutually terminating his contract.

Merbah's contract with the "Canaries" was set to run until June 2029, but he chose to leave despite the summer transfer window being closed in Algeria, raising questions about his next destination, which is likely to be one of the Arab leagues.

The club's management stated that after discussions over the past weeks regarding the goalkeeper's situation, an agreement was reached to end the contractual relationship between both parties, without any financial compensation related to the remaining period of his contract.

JS Kabylie expressed its gratitude to Gaya Merbah for his time at the club, wishing him success in his future football career.
