Al Ahly Overcomes Al Ahly Sporting Club
On the opening day of the Linked League, three matches took place, with defending champions Al Ahly defeating Al Ahly Sporting Club 80-56. Meanwhile, Al Ittihad Alexandria triumphed over Al Seid 84-43, while Petrojet lost to Al Qanah by two points, 71-73.
In the Under-16 Linked League, Al Ahly secured a victory against Al Ahly Sporting Club with a score of 82-44, and Al Ittihad won against Al Seid 80-26, while Petrojet defeated Al Qanah 77-57.
The Linked League is considered one of the prominent competitions in the Egyptian basketball season, as it determines the initial matches for the Super League qualifying for the African league, based on the ranking of the participating teams.
