Al Ahly continues its training without its international players in preparation for the match against Petrojet.

Al Ahly continues its daily preparations at Mokhtar El Tetsh Stadium during the international break, with the absence of players called up to their national teams. The coaching staff, led by Hussein Ammouta, aims to make the most of this period to enhance the physical and technical readiness of the remaining squad members for upcoming challenges.

Al Ahly Returns to Training After 4-Day Break

Al Ahly resumed training last Monday evening after a four-day break. The coaching staff has decided to conduct training sessions in two shifts, morning and evening, for a week, with plans to play two friendly matches. The first match will be against Libyan side Al Ittihad Misrati on September 28, and the second will be against Misr El Makasa on October 2. Wael Gomaa, the club's director of football, stated that the coaching staff made adjustments to the team's preparation program after advancing the match date against Petrojet in the Cairo Capital Cup to October 7 instead of October 8.

The coaching staff is currently focusing on enhancing physical and technical aspects during training, correcting mistakes observed in previous matches, and providing opportunities for players who have not had regular playing time, as well as preparing those returning from injuries, to ensure the team is in the best possible shape when official competitions resume in the near future.
