Al Ahly faces Zamalek in the quarter-finals of the linked basketball league.

Zamalek Basketball Team's Financial Issues

This clash comes at a time when the Zamalek basketball team is suffering from a crisis related to delayed financial payments to players, as the club's management has yet to settle these dues, raising much debate about the team's situation, especially with their important commitments in the current period.

Zamalek players enter the match under the weight of this crisis, while all eyes are on their ability to focus on the court and deliver the expected performance against Al Ahly. Especially since matches between the two clubs always attract significant public and media attention, given the historic rivalry between the clubs across various sports.

On the other hand, Al Ahly aims to take advantage of playing at home to achieve a positive result against their traditional rivals and continue their pursuit of the linked basketball league title, particularly as quarter-final matches play a crucial role in determining which teams will advance to the final stages of the tournament.

The encounter between Al Ahly and Zamalek holds great significance for both teams, as each seeks to secure victory, while the issue of delayed payments remains one of the most prominent concerns surrounding the Zamalek team ahead of the anticipated match, which will take place at 6 PM at the Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall in Zamalek.
