The coaching staff of Al Ahly is monitoring the health condition of defender Yasser Ibrahim, who will undergo a medical examination after the team's return from Uganda to assess his status and determine his readiness to return to training and participate in upcoming matches following an ankle injury.
The injury has kept him out of Al Ahly's recent training sessions and matches, after he began a rehabilitation program previously in an attempt to recover and regain his physical fitness, paving the way for his return to normal participation with the team.
Suspension and Injury Keep Yasser Ibrahim from Uganda Trip
The Al Ahly coaching staff decided to exclude Yasser Ibrahim from the squad traveling to Uganda to face Kitarra in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32 due to suspension, in addition to his incomplete readiness following the injury he sustained.
Yasser Ibrahim is nearing recovery after undergoing a rehabilitation program recently, and the coaching staff is awaiting the results of the medical examination to determine his final status regarding joining the team training and the possibility of relying on him in upcoming matches.
