The coaching staff of Al Ahly's first football team, led by Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, has rejected the idea of strengthening the attack with new signings during the upcoming winter transfer window, whether by acquiring local or foreign strikers, as the team has several players capable of filling this position in the near future.
Al Ahly rejects signing attacking players during January, and Amouta adopts caution regarding adding a new striker.
Al Ahly's squad features a variety of attacking players
The coaching staff believes that Al Ahly's roster includes a diverse group of attacking players to rely on, led by Algerian Mounsef Bakar and Moroccan Soufiane Benjdida, along with Aqtai Abdullah, providing Ammouta with multiple options to choose from based on the nature of the opponents and the tactical needs of each match. The team also has several players who can play as a center forward when needed, including Moroccan Achraf Bencharki and Taher Mohamed Taher, who can occupy this position depending on match circumstances and tactical strategies.
Based on this tactical vision, the coaching staff has decided against signing attacking players in January and has ruled out the acquisition of any local or foreign striker, making it extremely difficult to secure the services of Mahmoud Mamdouh, the Modern Sport striker linked with Al Ahly in recent days after his impressive performances with his club this season.
