Army Club secured a goalless draw (0-0) against their Ivorian hosts, Korhogo, in a match held today at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium, as part of the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup. The match saw both teams exchanging dangerous chances, but neither could find the back of the net.

The game was marked by intense competition, with both sides eager to capitalize on available opportunities to open the scoring, exchanging attacks and threats in front of both goals. However, a lack of offensive effectiveness prevented any progress, resulting in a scoreless draw.

The "military" team came close to securing a crucial victory when Jalal Eddine El Khafif missed a golden opportunity in the 84th minute after a brilliant pass from Marwan El Wadi, leaving the match without a winner or a loser.

This result gives the military team a chance to continue competing for a qualification spot in the return leg at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat next Sunday, where they will need to take advantage of home ground and fan support to secure a win and advance to the next stage of the continental competition.

Army Club traveled to Ivory Coast last Tuesday from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
