Ahmed Sami, the head coach of the Egyptian club, has settled for four friendly matches during the current international break to prepare his players before resuming official competitions in the Cairo Capital Cup.

He started the friendlies with a 9-0 victory over Al-Qaboty during the training camp in Port Said, then secured a win in the second friendly against the Egyptian youth team (born 2007) with a score of 3-0. In the second phase of the camp, the Egyptian team faced Borussia Egypt in a friendly in Cairo, where the Port Said team triumphed with five goals, before concluding the Cairo camp with a narrow win over Smouha by a single goal.
