Back at Rosenborg after his time with the national team, Amin Chiakha shared his thoughts on his experience with the Greens. The striker discussed the changes within the Algerian team and the work still needed to help the group regain its footing.

Following the conclusion of the September camp, Amin Chiakha returned to Rosenborg in Norway. The young striker took the opportunity for an interview with the official club website to talk about this international experience, which was marked by his first starts with the national team.

“It went well. I played quite a few matches and had my first starts with the team. It was nice to be there, but now I’m eager to get back on the pitch here,” he said, happy to reunite with his teammates after several weeks away.

Regarding his experience with the Greens, Chiakha also mentioned the challenges the team faces in this new phase of its development. The striker believes the group needs time to establish chemistry, especially after the departure of several key figures.

“We are a brand new team. Many of our iconic players have retired, so we need to find our rhythm, get to know each other, and set up some structures,” he explained.

These statements highlight the importance for the Greens to gradually build new collective references. With several changes in the squad, integrating new players and seeking a harmonious organization are crucial steps for the group to progress.

For Chiakha, this gathering was also a valuable opportunity to accumulate playing time and continue his learning at the international level. Even though he hoped to open his scoring account with Algeria, the striker will have to wait a bit longer before scoring his first goal in the national jersey.

In the meantime, the Rosenborg player aims to maintain his momentum at the club. Already at the top of the scoring chart in the Norwegian league, he hopes to keep this momentum going until the end of the season. “I prefer to be the top scorer at the end of the season. I’m taking things calmly and, if that happens, I’ll be very satisfied,” he concluded.
