France: Kebbal in the running for a new honor!

Everything seems to be going well for Ilan Kebbal at the moment. Performing well with Paris FC and back in the national team, the Algerian continues to make a name for himself in the French league.
Not selected by Vladimir Petkovic for the 2026 World Cup, Ilan Kebbal appears to have overcome this disappointment. Since the start of the season, the Algerian international has established himself as one of the key players for Paris FC, justifying every week Liam Rosenior's decision to keep him despite transfer requests during the last window.
Kebbal is now among the five contenders for the Goal of the Month in Ligue 1 for August to September. His goal against Strasbourg, during matchday 5, was selected: positioned almost on the edge of the box, the Algerian noticed the goalkeeper off his line and deceived him with a perfectly executed lob, which found the back of the net. He is competing against Hakon Haraldsson, Paris Brunner, Branco Van den Boomen, and Pathé Mboup.
This season, Kebbal has so far recorded 5 Ligue 1 matches, 1 goal, and 1 assist, totaling over 400 minutes on the pitch. This consistency has allowed him to naturally return to the national team during the last gathering led by Brahim Hemdani.
Remaining on the bench against Zambia, he came on against Burundi before making his first start against Niger. In total, Kebbal played two matches and approximately 79 minutes during this break, including 61 against Niger. This is further proof that the Paris FC player is now well reintegrated into the plans of the Greens.
