Several clubs in the Professional League have begun serious negotiations with Amir Azmi Magdy, who achieved promotion with Abu Qir for Fertilizers last season.
Officials at Ismaily started talks with Amir Azmi Magdy after Ashraf Khedr's departure at the beginning of the season, but he declined the opportunity to take charge of the team due to the lack of a comprehensive project for the technical leadership of the squad in the Professional League.
Amir Azmi revealed in exclusive statements to "Youm7" that he has turned down several recent offers from Professional League clubs because he prefers to work in the Premier League, especially after his success in gaining promotion with Abu Qir for Fertilizers last season. He hoped to continue his experience with the team, but certain circumstances prevented him from pursuing the project.
The former Zamalek coach also expressed his hope in the upcoming period to lead a team participating in the Premier League or one competing for promotion to the competition after his successful experience in reaching the top flight.
