Algerian duo Mohamed Amine Amoura and Adel Bourbaki have been named in the Team of the Week for Ligue 1 after their impressive performances with Nice and Laval, respectively.
French newspaper “L'Équipe” published the lineup for the fifth round of Ligue 1 on Monday, which concluded on Sunday, featuring Amoura and Bourbaki.
Amoura, who received a rating of 8/10, played a key role in Nice's 2-1 victory over Lille, contributing to the first goal before scoring the second, marking his first goal for the club since joining on loan from German side Wolfsburg this summer.
Meanwhile, Adel Bourbaki continued his fine form with Laval, scoring the opening goal in their 2-1 win against Lorient, helping the team secure their first victory in Ligue 1.
The U23 national team player was also rated 8/10 by “L'Équipe”, which described him as “outstanding” in its match assessment.
