Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical staff at Al Ahly SC, announced that Amr Elgazar, a player on the first football team, successfully underwent surgery for "arthroscopy to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and to stitch the meniscus," under the supervision of German expert Christian Brahl, at a hospital in Munich.
Amr Elgazar's Return to Cairo
The player is expected to return to Cairo with Dr. Ahmed Gaballah next Friday to begin the first phase of his rehabilitation program.
