Carlos Sainz's "Smooth Operator" lounge is set to return to the Las Vegas Strip for next month's Las Vegas Grand Prix, as MGM Resorts has unveiled its race-week plans across four of its properties.

The lounge will be back at ARIA, transforming the Proper Eats restaurant into a Sainz-themed venue offering unique apparel and cocktails inspired by the Williams driver's flair. The Spanish racer is also expected to make a personal appearance.

"With the Las Vegas Grand Prix returning for its fourth year, our focus is on what MGM Resorts excels at – uniting incredible sports, luxury hospitality, and entertainment," stated Ryan Abboushi, MGM Resorts’ president of entertainment.

"Thanks to our collaborations with leading global brands, our resorts along The Strip are poised to deliver race enthusiasts from around the world an experience they won’t find elsewhere."

Additional events at the Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan, and Park MGM include a Haas F1 team show car and memorabilia showcase at The Cosmopolitan, the Ferrari boutique at Bellagio, the Boulevard Party Deck at The Cosmopolitan, and the Shoey Bar at Bellagio, among other attractions.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is set for November 19-21 and marks the start of the final triple-header in the 2026 season.

The race through the streets of Sin City will remain part of the Formula 1 calendar until the end of 2037, following a contract extension in June 2026.

"We are excited that Formula 1 will keep racing in Las Vegas for many years ahead," said F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali during the announcement.

"Since its inaugural event in 2023, this race has been remarkable, swiftly establishing itself as a top destination for thrilling racing, world-class entertainment, key business figures, A-list stars, and influencers.

"It has made a significant and lasting contribution to the local economy and community. We have always believed that Las Vegas would become a foundational part of our presence in the United States, and this extension, along with the successes of recent years, strengthens our long-term commitment to this vital market."
