Amr El-Gazzar, the first-team defender for Al Ahly, returns to Cairo today, Friday, after undergoing successful surgery for "arthroscopy to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee and repair the meniscus," supervised by German expert Christian Brall, at a hospital in Munich last Tuesday.
Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical staff at Al Ahly, accompanied Amr El-Gazzar during this treatment journey. The player is set to begin his rehabilitation program in the coming days under the supervision of the team's medical staff.
