AS Tiznit suffers defeat against Ittihad Tangier

Ittihad Tanger began their campaign in the professional football league with a 3-1 victory over hosts AS Tiznit in a match held today at the Bouchaib Doukkali Stadium in Mohammedia, as part of the opening round of the 2026-2027 professional league season.

Ittihad Tanger opened the scoring early with a goal from Saad Ait Kherissa in the 9th minute, before AS Tiznit managed to equalize in stoppage time of the first half through Soufiane El Azhar at 45+1 minutes.

The Tanger team regained their strength in the second half, with Abdelhamid Maali putting them back in the lead in the 47th minute, before Ibrahim Diang added a third goal in the 55th minute, sealing the match for Ittihad Tanger with three goals to one.

With this victory, Ittihad Tanger made a strong start to the new season of the professional league, while AS Tiznit continues its search for its first points in the competition.
