Belghali Injured Against Frosinone, Raising Concerns!
Algerian international Rafik Belghali suffered an injury during the match between his team Torino and hosts Frosinone on Sunday evening, in the tenth round of Serie A, in an unexpected incident just days before the national team’s gathering.
The match did not go well for Belghali, who had to leave the pitch at a time when he was looking to continue delivering strong performances with Torino and enhance his readiness for joining the "Greens," who are preparing for the third and fourth rounds of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The defender's injury comes at a sensitive time, raising concerns about his ability to join the national team gathering again. Clarification on the nature of the injury and the expected duration of his absence is awaited after undergoing necessary medical examinations.
On the other hand, the match saw another Algerian international, Faris Ghajemis, shine, contributing to Frosinone's 2-0 victory by scoring his first goal in Serie A.
