A new chapter begins for Mohamed Amine Tougaï in Libya. The Algerian international seized the opportunity of a continental match to shine and send an early signal in his new colors.

Mohamed Amine Tougaï quickly caught the attention with Al Ahli Tripoli. The former defender of Espérance Sportive de Tunis scored his first goal for the Libyan club during the home match against Welwalo Adigrat, an Ethiopian team, in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Starting in the lineup, the Algerian defender played a key role in his team's strong start by finding the back of the net in the first half. From a perfectly executed corner, Tougaï, well positioned in the box, shone with a header, allowing Al Ahli Tripoli to take a comfortable lead on the scoreboard. He scored the second goal for his team.

This first goal is a positive signal for the Algerian player, who aims to leverage his African football experience for his new team. After several seasons with Espérance, where he built a solid reputation, Tougaï is now continuing his career in the Libyan league with the ambition to establish himself quickly.

Al Ahli Tripoli ultimately won the match with a decisive score of 4-0. This victory places the club in a favorable position ahead of the return match and allows them to approach the remainder of this double confrontation with a comfortable lead, although qualification still needs to be confirmed.

With this first goal, Tougaï starts his Libyan adventure on a promising note and now hopes to maintain this momentum to help his team go as far as possible in the CAF Confederation Cup.
