L’AS Réal de Bamako started the match perfectly against Espérance Sportive de Zarzis this Saturday in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Malian players quickly took the lead with a goal from Fousseyni Tangara (No. 12), catching the Tunisian defense off guard right from the kickoff. With impressive offensive efficiency, the visiting team showcased the talent of their star striker.

Wearing the number 20, André Kamate took control of the match by scoring two quick goals, putting the ES Zarzis defense under pressure twice before halftime. Dominating throughout the first half, AS Réal went into the break with a comfortable lead of three goals to none (0-3).

This puts the Malians in a strong position for qualification to the group stage, forcing the Zarzisians to find an unlikely surge of energy in the second half.
