Moataz El-Battawy, the sporting director of Ceramica Club, confirmed that the speculation regarding a clause in Ali Maher's contract, allowing him to move to Al Ahly or the Egyptian national team, has come to an end.
Moataz El-Battawy stated in exclusive remarks to "Youm7": "Ali Maher is making good progress with the team and is showing impressive performance in leading Ceramica. We aim to compete for all titles."
The sporting director of Ceramica responded to whether there is a clause that permits the coach to leave for Al Ahly or the national team: "Ali Maher's contract with Ceramica does not contain any clause that allows him to move to coach Al Ahly or the national team. His contract is ongoing with the club, and any offers that may arise will go through Ceramica."
Ceramica is preparing to face Abu Qir Fertilizers at 5 PM next Saturday, in the Round of 32 of the Egypt Cup.
