The Egypt national futsal team, under the guidance of coach Nader Rashad, secured a 6-3 victory over Algeria in a friendly match held today in Tlemcen, as part of their preparations for the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations.
Egypt's goals were scored by Khaled Yousri, Mohamed Al-Watidi, Mohamed Saeed (two goals), Mostafa Ishaq, and Anas Khaled, leading the Pharaohs to triumph in this first friendly encounter.
Egypt is set to play their second friendly match against Algeria on Wednesday, September 23, which will take place in the Algerian city of Oran.
These two matches are part of the team's preparation for the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations in Morocco, scheduled from October 12 to 21, and the tournament will be held under the new format of the African Football Confederation as an independent continental competition, without ties to qualification for the Futsal World Cup.
