Morocco will be without Ismaël Saibari for its two matches against Niger, which are part of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. The midfielder injured his right ankle during the match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund (2-2) and has undergone successful surgery, but his return is expected to take at least three months.

Tests confirmed a tear of the syndesmotic ligament in his right ankle. According to sources from the German press, the player is not expected to return to the pitch before January 2027. Therefore, his presence in the matches on November 13 and 17 against Niger is impossible.

This absence poses a significant challenge for coach Mohamed Ouahbi, who will need to adjust his midfield selections for these two matches in the 3rd and 4th rounds of the qualifiers.
