Outstanding against PSV Eindhoven, Anis Hadj Moussa once again showcased his talent with Feyenoord. His superb goal drew praise from Ron Jans, who did not hesitate to compare him to Spanish prodigy Lamine Yamal.

Some actions create a consensus, and Anis Hadj Moussa's performance against PSV is undeniably one of them. Initially reserved, the Algerian international ultimately revealed himself to provide Feyenoord with one of the most memorable moments of the match.

With a curled shot, he placed the ball into the opposite top corner, leaving the opposing goalkeeper with little chance. A truly high-level achievement, which quickly sparked reactions in the Netherlands.

Invited onto the set of NOS Studio Sport, Ron Jans expressed his admiration for the 24-year-old winger. The Dutch coach, well aware of the league, believes that fans are fortunate to still enjoy his talent in the Eredivisie.

“We really need to appreciate that he is still playing in the Netherlands. This young man has the power to change the course of matches. He is simply on par with Lamine Yamal,” he stated, before adding: “It’s really a pleasure to watch him play. We know he is capable of such things. A splendid goal.”

This comparison with the young phenomenon from FC Barcelona speaks volumes about Hadj Moussa's impact. Capable of outpacing his direct defender and turning a match with a stroke of genius, the Fennec possesses that special something that keeps spectators anticipating his next move.

Ron Jans could have crossed paths with the Algerian much earlier. When he was in charge of FC Utrecht, the coach considered signing him:

“Things seemed to be going well. I had received a lot of feedback from Vitesse: don’t do it, because he doesn’t defend. But he is so exceptional. He contacted me back then, when I was at Utrecht, to inform me that he would ultimately choose Feyenoord. Yes, it was a good choice.”

The Dutch coach can now appreciate the journey of the Algerian winger, whose performances continue to make waves in the Netherlands.
