Spain: Luca Zidane is going through tough times with Leganés! (Video)

After a very promising start to the season with Leganés, Luca Zidane is currently going through a more challenging period. Despite suffering four defeats against Cádiz, the Algerian international is not to blame for the goals conceded.
Transferred this summer from Granada to Leganés, Luca Zidane had perfectly begun his new adventure with three matches without conceding a goal in his first three outings and several crucial saves.
However, the trend has clearly changed for the Algerian international. After several more difficult matches, the 28-year-old goalkeeper experienced another tough evening on Saturday with Leganés' heavy defeat against Cádiz (4-0).
The first goal came in the 5th minute. Antoñito Cordero received the ball alone on the right flank of Leganés' defense, shot with his left foot, and placed the ball in the right corner past Zidane. The Algerian goalkeeper could have probably covered his angle better but failed to prevent the opening goal.
In the 54th minute, following a scramble in the box, Vladyslav Kopotun seized a loose ball. Masked at the moment of the shot, Zidane could not intervene and Cádiz doubled their lead.
The Madrid defense then completely faltered. In the 70th minute, Cordero was served in the box and calmly adjusted his shot with the inside of his foot into the small net to complete his brace and make it 3-0.
Twelve minutes later, Aïmen Moueffek took advantage of a low cross and struck with the inside of his foot on the first touch towards the far post. This time, Zidane was completely powerless.
A few days earlier, against Castellón (0-2), Luca Zidane made a significant error by missing a very far clearance from his area, allowing the opponent to score from over 30 meters. The goalkeeper was also not selected for Algeria's September-October gathering, as he had to serve a two-match suspension against Zambia and Burundi, a sanction resulting from the incidents that occurred after the elimination against Nigeria in the last Africa Cup of Nations.
