France will host the individual table tennis World Cup in 2027 and 2028, a key event of the year in this discipline, with an edition planned for Paris, the French Federation announced on Thursday, September 17. This tournament, which will include both men's and women's competitions, will take place next season in Montpellier, from March 29 to April 4, 2027. Montpellier has previously hosted a WTT Champions event, equivalent to a Masters 1000 in tennis. After Montpellier, Paris will host the 2028 edition, a year marked by the Olympic Games. The exact dates and venue have not yet been revealed, but the Arena Porte de la Chapelle, in the north of the capital, or the Bercy Arena, could be viable options.
