Germany: "I no longer wish to confront you!" declares Undaz to Maza!

Ibrahim Maza lost the match but gained a fan. Impressed by his performance, Deniz Undav showered the Algerian with compliments before making a rather amusing request in the stadium corridors.
Deniz Undav would clearly have preferred to face another player. Despite Bayer Leverkusen's defeat to Stuttgart (2-4), Ibrahim Maza left a mark on the VfB captain. Scoring and particularly dynamic, the Algerian midfielder even received a funny request after the match.
In the stadium corridors, Undav said to Maza, in a scene reported by Bild: “Get to Paris, man, I don’t want to see you on the pitch again!” A humorous way to acknowledge the difficulties the 20-year-old player caused Stuttgart, well beyond his goal.
The German forward also shared his admiration at the microphone of Sky: “With Maza, Leverkusen has an exceptional player; he creates space and wins duels.” Praise that rewards a performance full of character. Available between the lines, capable of withstanding pressure and getting out of difficult situations thanks to his technique, the Algerian was one of the few bright spots for Bayer.
Maza also solidified his efforts by scoring with a header in the 79th minute to bring the score to 2-4. He now totals four goals and three assists in twelve appearances across all competitions this season. A promising output, accompanied by an influence in the game that his opponents now acknowledge without reservation.
