Ghana could soon find out who will be its next coach. The five-member committee tasked with identifying and proposing a replacement for Carlos Queiroz is set to submit its report to the Ministry of Sports and Leisure on October 9.
This deadline follows the departure of the Portuguese coach, who left his position after a disappointing start for the Black Stars in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. Ghana suffered defeats in its first two matches against Ivory Coast and Gambia.
The committee will need to present a profile capable of revitalizing a team currently at the bottom of Group C with no points. The new coach's first task will be to prepare for the two matches against Somalia scheduled for November.
Queiroz managed Ghana in seven matches, achieving one win, two draws, and four losses.
