Hamdaoui to Announce Training Camp Roster Next Thursday
National coach Ibrahim Hamdaoui is expected to announce the list of players for the international break from September 21 to October 6, 2026, next Thursday.
The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced that Hamdaoui will hold a press conference on Thursday at the Mohamed Salah Hall in the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki.
It confirmed that the national coach will reveal the list of players who will participate in this training camp during the conference, which will start at 15:00.
The Algerian public is eager to know the names that Hamdaoui will rely on at the beginning of his journey with the "Greens," after the FAF appointed him as coach following Vladimir Petkovic, with the assistance of former international Antar Yahya.
The national team will play the first two matches of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the end of September, hosting Zambia on September 25 at the Hussein Ait Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou, before heading to face Burundi on September 29 at the Intwari Stadium in Bujumbura.
Hamdaoui's team will also play a friendly match against Niger at the Hussein Ait Ahmed Stadium on the last day of the international break, October 6.
