Hazem Emam comments on the news of Hossam Ghaly's crisis: "This is the joy of football... and they are both my dear friends."

Former Zamalek star Hazem Emam commented on the recent controversy surrounding the "1-1" video and the alleged provocations from Hossam Ghaly towards him, emphasizing that it was merely "friendly banter" typical in the world of football.

Through his personal account on Instagram, Hazem Emam addressed the fans, saying: "Good evening, everyone. How are you? I see that the 1-1 video has created a significant buzz, and some say that Hossam Ghaly is provoking me. But I want to clarify something; Hossam Ghaly and Emad Meteb are among the kindest, bravest, and best people I have dealt with in the sports community."

He further explained the nature of the incident: "What happened was just a little teasing between us, and they are my friends. They have the right to enjoy and celebrate after their 2-0 victory, and that’s the beauty of football. Of course, I feel disappointed about the match, but that’s football; we should enjoy when your team wins without tension, and they have the right to be happy."

Hazem Emam concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, stressing that football is played for enjoyment and happiness, away from any misconduct from either side.
