Zamalek officials are preparing to pay the second installment of dues to Tunisian player Ferjani Sassi, a former member of the team, in the coming period. This payment is part of the settlement agreement reached between the two parties, which helped resolve the issue and withdraw the case related to the player from FIFA.
Sassi waives part of his dues
Ferjani Sassi agreed to waive part of his overdue payments from Zamalek, estimated at around $600,000, while agreeing to schedule the remaining amounts in installments. This helped end the crisis related to the club's registration ban due to the player's dues.
Sassi waived $200,000 of his total dues after intervention from Tamer Hossam, a former Zamalek star, to help resolve the issue. The total amount remaining for the player is $400,000, which will be paid in installments according to the settlement agreement between the two parties.
