Ismaily SC continued their disappointing run, suffering a 1-0 defeat to Rabat and Anwar in the first round of the Egypt Cup, eliminating the team from the competition early.
Ismaily participated in the match with the following lineup:
Goalkeeper: Abdel Rahman Mahrous.
Defense: Abdullah Hassan, Ahmed Ayman, Youssef Mohamed, Ibrahim Abdel Aal.
Midfield: Abdel Rahman Batikha, Nader Alaa, Ali Al-Malwani, Sayyed Rabi, Omar Khidr.
Attack: Hassan Saber.
Ismaily continues to struggle in the Professional League, having played 5 matches so far without a victory, managing only 2 draws while suffering 3 defeats.
Ismaily sits in 19th place in the Professional League standings with just 2 points, having scored 2 goals and conceded 9. The exit from the Egypt Cup further complicates Ismaily's situation, given the negative results the team has achieved since the start of the season.
