Former Zamalek star Jamal Abdel Hamid emphasized the importance of addressing player issues within the team in a way that ensures the club's interests during his appearance on the program "El Clasico," broadcast on ON E channel.
Abdel Hamid questioned the effectiveness of suspending players like Shikabala, Ahmed Fattouh, and Mohamed Sherif, suggesting that imposing hefty fines and deducting amounts from their dues while allowing them to continue participating in matches would be more beneficial.
He explained that financial penalties could be an effective means of maintaining discipline within the team without depriving the coaching staff of the players' contributions, especially when their skills are needed for upcoming competitions.
In related news, the Egyptian Football Association's referees committee, headed by Essam Abdel Fattah, has appointed the officiating crew for the match between Zamalek and المقاولون العرب, scheduled for 8 PM tomorrow, Wednesday, at Cairo International Stadium, marking the conclusion of the first day of the eighth round of the Egyptian League.
The committee has assigned international referee Mohamed El Ghazi as the main referee, with international assistants Mahmoud Abu El Ragel and Mohamed Atef El Zanari, and Mustafa Osman as the fourth official. In the VAR room, international referee Hossam Azab Haggag will be assisted by Haitham Osman.
