Jamala Salami is close to taking over as head coach of Al-Fateh.

Jamala Salami Close to Taking Charge of Al-Fateh
The management of Al-Fateh SC is awaiting official approvals to announce the signing of Moroccan coach Jamal Salami to lead the first football team, replacing Saudi coach Khalid Al-Attawi, according to sources from the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah."
The same sources indicated that Salami is expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, in preparation for taking on his coaching duties, after Al-Fateh and Al-Attawi reached a mutual agreement to end their relationship. Al-Fateh had signed the Saudi coach on July 21 without specifying the duration of the contract.
Salami, who is 55 years old, has a long coaching career that began in 2010, during which he has managed several clubs and national teams. He started as an assistant coach for the Moroccan national team and then took charge of Hassania Agadir, Al-Fateh, and Difaa El Jadidi, before returning to the Moroccan national team at the youth levels, where he led the U17 and U20 teams. In 2019, he returned to coach Difaa El Jadidi, then Al-Fateh, and later Raja Casablanca, before taking over the Jordanian national team in 2024, where he successfully led them to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
