The Saudi national team claimed the Gulf Arab Football Cup title, "Gulf 27," after defeating the UAE national team 2-0 in the final match held on Tuesday evening at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

The Saudi team started the match strongly, managing to score the first goal in the 11th minute through Hammam Al-Hamami, before Firas Al-Buraikan added the second goal for the "Green" in the 13th minute.

The Saudi national team maintained its lead until the final whistle, despite attempts by the UAE team to reduce the deficit, securing the title with a score of 2-0.

The Saudi team reached the final after defeating Qatar in a penalty shootout (3-2), following a goalless draw in both regular and extra time, while the UAE team advanced after beating Oman by a single goal.

With this victory, the Saudi national team won the Gulf Cup for the fourth time in its history, having previously triumphed in 1994, 2002, and 2004, thus ending a 22-year wait for the title.
