Khnous scores and leads Stuttgart to victory

Moroccan international Bilal Khenous contributed to Stuttgart's 4-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in a match held on Saturday at the “BayArena,” during the eighth round of the Bundesliga.

The visitors started the match strongly, with Ermedin Demirovic scoring the first goal in the 14th minute, followed by teammate Jamie Leweling adding the second goal eight minutes later, putting Stuttgart in a comfortable position early in the game.

Bayer Leverkusen responded by narrowing the gap in the 28th minute through their player Patrik Schick, ending the first half with Stuttgart leading 2-1.

At the start of the second half, Stuttgart continued their offensive pressure, and Bilal Khenous managed to score the third goal for his team in the 51st minute, further extending the visitors' lead and confirming his presence in the match.

Demirovic returned to score his second goal and Stuttgart's fourth in the 65th minute, while Ibrahim Maaza reduced the deficit for Bayer Leverkusen in the 79th minute, but the home side's attempts were not enough to avoid defeat on their own ground.

With this victory, Stuttgart raised their points tally to 9, occupying the tenth position, while Bayer Leverkusen remained at 13 points in sixth place.

As a result, Bilal Khenous increased his goal tally in the Bundesliga this season to two, having participated in eight matches in the competition.
