Formula 1 competitors Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, and Oscar Piastri faced off in an oversized game of UNO, a video that has quickly gained over 320,000 views in under a day.

Formula 1 shared the footage on YouTube, referring to it as “the McLaren duo” being “joined by Pierre Gasly for a game of super-sized UNO in the paddock.”

The cards were approximately the size of a billboard, and the game commenced with the drivers tasked with shuffling the deck.

“Oh my god, they’re actually heavy too," Piastri remarked as his teammate observed. "I don’t want to hurt myself,” Norris joked while laughing at the Australian's attempts to separate the cards into piles for shuffling. The rules were the same as standard UNO, just with “extra large cards,” and the player who drew the highest number went first. Enter Pierre.

It didn’t take long for the banter to begin. “Stop peeking at my cards, man,” Gasly laughed, as the drivers eyed each other’s oversized hands during the game.

Gasly was the first to reach his last card after hitting Norris with a +4, leading the McLaren duo to team up against their Alpine rival. He finished it off shortly after, leaving the two McLaren drivers to battle it out.

“Alright, it’s me against Oscar now,” the current champion stated. “We’ve both lost, so I’m not too bothered," Piastri added.

Norris, clutching an enormous stack of cards, found it difficult to play, even managing to hit himself in the face with one. “He’s got half the deck in his hand and still can’t make a move,” Gasly quipped after Piastri was compelled to draw several cards, with the McLaren driver ultimately jokingly slamming his cards onto the floor after being forced to pick up more.

However, the dynamics of the game swiftly shifted. Piastri, teaming up with Gasly, managed to reduce his hand, and soon it was Norris who was left with the cards as the game concluded.

“That’s the first UNO game I’ve ever lost in my life,” he remarked.

Following the game, the drivers were asked for their thoughts. “I think it’s a two-person job at times with so many cards,” Piastri noted. “You need to Frisbee a few..."

“Not much argument. Usually, with my family, it gets pretty heated over Christmas,” Gasly confessed.

This weekend at the United States Grand Prix, Norris and Piastri find themselves in a favorable position. Norris is sixth in the championship with 201 points, Piastri seventh with 138, while Gasly stands tenth with 41 for Alpine.
