Lewis Hamilton responds to an impressive fan-created Ferrari helmet influenced by "Star Wars."

A supporter of Ferrari racer Lewis Hamilton has crafted an exceptional helmet that seamlessly blends a touch of Star Wars with the excitement of Formula 1 race weekends. It has garnered so much appreciation that the seven-time champion himself has been liking the images shared by the designer on social platforms.
This helmet design combines the unmistakable silhouette of a Mandalorian helmet with Hamilton's Scuderia Ferrari hues and his current helmet aesthetics. It incorporates sponsor logos, racing components, and just enough sci-fi flair to make it feel at home both during a race weekend and while on a bounty hunt.
Footage of the helmet has surfaced online, and fans have made it abundantly clear that they admire the remarkable attention to detail.
Ferrari branding meets Mandalorian style
The design is clearly inspired by the fictional Mandalorian species from Star Wars. It showcases a T-shaped visor, distinct cheek plates, and the signature rangefinder attachment. Instead of the usual beskar-metal finish, it has been painted in Hamilton's customary yellow with red accents and even features a glowing red effect from LEDs positioned behind the Richard Mille sponsorship above the brow.
Ferrari's Prancing Horse emblem is prominently displayed at the center of the forehead, with HP and other familiar sponsor logos arranged similarly to Hamilton's actual helmet. The driver's #44 race number is featured on the aerodynamic piece at the back of the helmet.
The midsection boasts seven stars on either side of the design, representing the seven championship victories since Hamilton embarked on his career in 2007.
The hardware enhances the design
The right side showcases an articulated rangefinder mounted on a pivoting ear-cap arm that can swing in front of the visor, while the right cheek displays two removable silver canisters positioned vertically, adding another layer of intrigue with exposed braided hoses running along the painted surface.
In one clip, it even includes its own HANS device.
As a huge fan myself, it's evident that Hamilton shares a love for Star Wars, having maintained a long-standing friendship with its creator, George Lucas. The driver even attended the grand opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art alongside partner Kim Kardashian, where he posed next to some of the franchise's most iconic models.
