As MC Alger continues its search for a new profile, several names have recently emerged. Among them is a former Algerian international, but the club's management has quickly sought to clarify the situation.

The search for a successor to the sporting director position at MC Alger remains a hot topic. While the club's management deliberates on finding the right candidate for this key role, several names have been mentioned in the local press in recent hours.

Among the candidates discussed is Karim Matmour, a former Algerian international, who could, according to circulating information, be among the options considered by the Mouloudia leaders. The former forward, familiar with the Algerian football scene and the demands of high-level competition, has thus been linked to the succession for the sporting director position.

Other names have also been suggested, such as Reda Hammache, a former executive who notably worked at Nîmes and Caen, as well as Hadj Redjem, the former president of MC Alger. These various leads have emerged in the context of the search for a replacement for this position, following Amer Mansoul's refusal to take on this responsibility.

However, in light of the increasing rumors and speculation, the management of MC Alger has chosen to respond officially. In a statement released on Monday, the club formally denied any existence of contacts or negotiations with the names recently mentioned in the media regarding the sporting director position.

The Mouloudia management asserted that it is examining the matter “with great attention and a sense of responsibility,” based on the club's project and objectives. It also clarified that no decision would be made hastily, as long as all required conditions and criteria are not met.

Therefore, the MCA urges prioritizing information from its official channels and avoiding speculation. Although Matmour's name has particularly caught attention in recent hours, there is currently no confirmation that he will be the next sporting director of Mouloudia.
