Moataz Jamal plans to rest the key players and prepare the substitutes for the match against Wadi Degla.

Moataz Gamal, the head coach of Zamalek's first football team, is preparing to make changes to the lineup for the upcoming match against Wadi Degla, scheduled for November 2, as part of the second round of the group stage in the Cairo Cup.

Moataz Gamal considers using youth

The coach plans to include several young players and give them a chance to play with the first team, as part of his effort to prepare as many players as possible and assess their technical level, especially with the current congested schedule of matches and competitions.

Gamal is also looking to give opportunities to some players who have not received enough minutes in previous matches, to test their abilities and prepare them for future use, given the team's need for ready alternatives in various positions.

Giving opportunities to non-regular players

This approach comes in light of the coaching staff's desire to gain technical benefits from the Cairo Cup matches by expanding the selection base and giving chances to players who have not participated regularly, in addition to keeping the key players fit amid a busy match schedule.

The Zamalek coaching staff is working to prepare all players during the upcoming training sessions before facing Wadi Degla, as the team aims to achieve a positive result and continue its journey in the tournament, while also allowing some new faces to showcase their abilities and gain the coaching staff's trust.
