Morocco defeats the Philippines in the World Cup in Azerbaijan.

The Moroccan U15 national football team began its journey in the World Cup for this age group, held in Azerbaijan, with a 2-0 victory over the Philippines in a match played today, Saturday, at the Hovsan Complex in the capital, Baku.

The national team secured the result during the first half, with Safwan Blamin opening the scoring in the 6th minute, followed by Said Noufi adding a second goal in the 17th minute.

The Moroccan team continues its campaign in the first round of the tournament with two matches tomorrow, Sunday, October 25, facing Costa Rica at 10:30 AM, before meeting Belize at 4:45 PM.

The Atlas Cubs will also play two more matches on Monday, October 26, against Curaçao at 10:30 AM and Liberia at 4:45 PM, as part of the scheduled timeline for the first round of the competition.

The schedule for the next stage, set to take place between October 28 and 30, will be determined based on the results achieved by the participating teams during the qualifying matches.

Karim Muftal, the coach of the Moroccan U15 team, has called up 14 players to participate in this international football event, which is part of the U15 World Cup and the football festival taking place in Azerbaijan.
