Official: Adem Alilet joins Espérance de Tunis
Espérance de Tunis continues to invest in Algerian talent. After several recent changes within its squad, the Tunisian club has announced the arrival of Adem Alilet.
Espérance de Tunis has found its new Algerian player. Following the departures of Mohamed Amine Tougaï and Kouceila Boualia in recent weeks, the blood and gold club has confirmed the signing of central defender Adem Alilet, who joins his compatriot Youcef Belaïli in the Tunisian squad.
In a statement released on its social media, EST officially announced the player's signing: “Espérance Sportive de Tunis has finalized today the recruitment of Algerian Adem Alilet, who has signed a two-season contract, until 2028, as part of a free transfer.”
At 27 years old, Alilet takes on a new challenge just a few months after leaving USM Alger. The defender had ended his time with the Red and Black mid-last season to seek his first experience abroad, joining Al-Ittihad in Tripoli, Libya, in February 2026.
His arrival in Tunis had been marked by several twists recently due to his contractual situation in Libya. The matter is now completely resolved, and Alilet officially becomes a new defensive option for Espérance, with whom he has committed until June 2028.
