Beloumi Nominated for Premier League Player of the Week Award
Algerian international, Mohamed Bashir Beloumi, continues to reap the rewards of his impressive performance this past weekend with Hull City against Chelsea.
Beloumi shone in last Saturday’s match against the Blues, scoring two goals in a 2-2 draw during the fourth round of the Premier League.
The official Premier League account has nominated the "Fennec" star for the Player of the Week award, alongside seven other players, with the winner to be decided by fan voting.
Beloumi will compete for the symbolic award with Elliot Anderson of Manchester City, Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Leeds United, Liv Davis of Ipswich Town, Pascal Groß of Brighton, João Pedro from Chelsea, David Raya of Arsenal, and Kevin Schade of Brentford.
Additionally, English football legend and Newcastle United star Alan Shearer has included the Algerian international in his Team of the Week for the fourth round, reflecting the admiration for the player’s contributions in his first season in the Premier League.
