Petrojet has announced the appointment of Reda Shahat as the team's head coach.
The official page of Petrojet announced on social media the appointment of Reda Shehata as the new head coach of the team, replacing Ahmed Abdel-Maqsoud, who resigned from his position.
The coaching staff under Reda Shehata will be composed of the following:
Abu Al-Majd Mustafa: General Coach.
Mahmoud Zayan: Coach.
Mahmoud Fathy: Goalkeeping Coach.
Abdel Rahman Abdel Aziz: Fitness Coach.
Ihab Abu Al-Izz: Performance Analyst.
Reda Shehata aims to improve Petrojet's results in the upcoming period and to redirect the team's path in the Egyptian Premier League, starting with the upcoming match against Ghazl El Mahalla, which will take place on Friday, October 30.
This coaching change came after Petrojet's loss to Zamalek by a score of 1-0 in their match during the seventh round of the league, leading to the end of Ahmed Abdel-Maqsoud's tenure with the team.
Petrojet is preparing to face Ghazl El Mahalla next Friday at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, as part of the eighth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Petrojet currently sits in sixteenth place in the league standings, with a total of 5 points, earned from one win, two draws, and four losses.
