The Competitions Department of the Egyptian Football Association is seriously considering scheduling the Round of 32 matches in the Egypt Cup between November 1 and 8.
This administrative decision comes in an effort to fill the time gap created by the period when the Super Cup was originally set to take place before the schedule was adjusted.
Estimates from the Competitions Committee suggest that the most suitable time to conduct the Round of 32 matches in the Egypt Cup will be at the end of the first week of November, taking into account the pressure of matches and the continental and domestic commitments of the clubs participating in various tournaments.
This trend coincides with clubs' involvement in other competitions, as the second round of the group stage in the League Cup is expected to take place in early November, contributing to a well-organized and sequential schedule among the different domestic tournaments.
The Competitions Department aims to finalize all timing and coordination details in the coming days and announce the final dates for the Round of 32 in the Egypt Cup, ensuring a stable schedule and equal opportunities for all clubs competing this season.
