Pyramids FC clarifies to Youm7 the truth about signing Mohamed Hani and outlines its position on the deal.
A source from Pyramids FC has denied rumors that the club has entered talks with Mohamed Hani, the right-back for Al Ahly, regarding a free transfer, especially since the player's contract with his team expires at the end of the current season.
The source stated in comments to "Youm7," "Mohamed Hani is a talented player with good character, but Pyramids does not need his services at this time, especially as the club follows a clear policy of reducing the ages of players, and there is no need to strengthen this position with a new player."
Pyramids has Mohamed Chebbi on the right flank
The source added, "Pyramids has Mohamed Chebbi, who was the second-best player in Africa last season, in addition to Khaled Awad, who is a standout in this position and is expected to be a key part of the Egyptian national team soon."
He continued, "The team also includes Ahmed Tawfik and Mohamed Atef Qatta, who are available options in this position, meaning there is no need to sign a new player."
The source confirmed that Pyramids is not considering signing any player unless there is a clear technical need, noting that attempts to use the club's name in deals that it is not pursuing, whether from agents or brokers, are categorically rejected.
