The Egypt national futsal team, under the guidance of coach Nader Rashad, secured a 7-2 victory over Zambia in their first friendly match today, Sunday, at the Olympic Center in Maadi, as part of their preparations for upcoming challenges.
Mohamed Talaat shone during the match, scoring a hat-trick, while Ibrahim El-Sayed netted two goals, Abdul Rahman Sayed added one, and Ahmed Fekry capped off the scoring for the Egyptian team.
Egypt will face Zambia again in a second friendly match on Tuesday, October 6, at 6 PM, at the Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October City.
These matches against Zambia are part of Egypt's training program in preparation for the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations in Morocco, scheduled to take place from October 12 to 21.
It is worth noting that this edition of the tournament is held under the new system of the Confederation of African Football and is considered an independent continental championship that does not qualify for the Futsal World Cup.
