Raja Casablanca secures a hard-fought victory over Nahda Zemamra

Raja Club Athletic secured their first victory in the Professional Football League, defeating Nahda Zemamra 1-0 in a match held this evening at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, during the second round of the championship.

Both teams entered the match aiming for a positive result, with the first half seeing a back-and-forth exchange of attacks and chances from both sides, with Raja having a slight edge as they posed more threats to the opposing goal, seeking to open the scoring.

After several attempts, Raja Club Athletic found the net in the 27th minute, courtesy of Othmane Cheraibi, who gave the "Green" team the lead, and the match continued at a balanced pace until the end of the first half.

In the second half, the pace of the match noticeably increased, with attacking movements from both teams, as Raja tried to maintain their lead while Nahda Zemamra intensified their pressure in search of an equalizer.

The team from Doukkala looked more dangerous at times during the second half, creating several attacking opportunities, but they failed to convert these into goals due to Raja's resilient defense and a lack of a decisive final touch.

Raja Club Athletic successfully held onto their lead until the final whistle, earning their first three points of the professional league this season, while Nahda Zemamra remained without any points after suffering their second consecutive defeat.
