The UAE and Saudi Arabia in the final match of the Gulf Cup.

The UAE secured a 1-0 victory over Oman in the semifinals of the Gulf Cup of Football "Gulf 27" on Saturday evening in Jeddah, earning a spot in the final against Saudi Arabia, who triumphed over Qatar in a penalty shootout.

The UAE, the defending champions from 2007 and 2013, owe their success to Othman Kamara, who scored the only goal in the 22nd minute, while his teammate Nicolás Giménez missed a penalty in the 56th minute.

The UAE will face Saudi Arabia in the final, after Saudi Arabia defeated Qatar 3-2 on penalties following a goalless draw in both regular and extra time, on Tuesday at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
