RC Lens will be without one of its key players for several weeks. Abdallah Sima suffered a thigh injury while with the Senegal national team during the international break and is not expected to return to the pitch until the end of November.
The 25-year-old Senegalese has played five Ligue 1 matches this season, scoring one goal, and his performances have been promising since the start of the year.
His absence could impact eight matches, including clashes against Lyon and Marseille in the league, as well as several European fixtures against Sporting Portugal, Club Brugge, and Como. This is another setback for Yannick Cahuzac.
