Spartak Moscow has decided to continue relying on Alexander Djiku. According to Africafoot, the Ghanaian defender has agreed to extend his contract with the Russian club.

His current contract is valid until 2027, with an option for an additional year. The new offer would now consider an extension until 2029, along with a salary increase.

Since his arrival from Fenerbahçe in January 2025, Djiku has established himself as a key player in Spartak's defense. His experience, particularly gained at Strasbourg, makes him one of the team's major players.
